All carriers must meet our strict criteria before they can become a carrier partner of Boyd Logistics, LLC. First, all must carry a minimum of $1,000,000 of public and general liability insurance, $100,000 cargo insurance and meet the statutory limits for Workmans Comp Insurance in their domiciled state. Along with the carriers insurance we take extra steps to ensure you are covered by providing you with contingent liability insurance of $1,000,000 general and public liability and Workmans Comp Insurance along with $100,000 cargo insurance. And third, and this is where most carriers are eliminated, their SafeStat scores must be at or below the DOT’s set score of 75 all 4 categories; Driver Management, Vehicle Safety, Safety Management and Accidents. All of our 6500 carriers are monitored daily to ensure their scores are at or below 75. We take it a step further by double checking their scores before we dispatch any load. Boyd Logistics, LLC. is a leader in the use of technology, loads are tendered and accepted by our partner carriers electronically with a detailed load confirmation, detailing all information a driver needs to meet your requirements, we require all carriers to enter their load pick up times and delivery times through our website and this can be linked electronically to your system and report to you automatically when your loads are picked up and delivered. Carriers with a performance rating of less than 98% on time are not allowed to haul for us until a service plan of action is implemented and agreed to by all parties.
In the unlikely event of a claim, Boyd Logistics, LLC. will process it through every step of the way making sure you are paid for your loss. At no time will we turn a claim over to the carrier to handle; you will always work with Boyd Logistics, LLC. to resolve any issue.
Boyd Logistics, LLC. has the ability to accept loads from you electronically through your web based load tendering software, we have our own MC number and SCAC code.
